Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager:

  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and schedules, focusing on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Leading improvement initiatives within the maintenance team
  • Managing and mentoring a small group of engineers
  • Overseeing subcontractor performance and ensuring safety compliance
  • Identifying and resolving recurring equipment issues through engineering solutions

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in roles such as Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Manager, or Engineering Manager
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience in developing and executing PPM and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies
  • Background in maintenance within an industrial manufacturing setting
  • Preferably IOSH or NEBOSH trained, with training opportunities available
