We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Community Nurse to join our team at Leaders in Care, a private healthcare provider specialising in paediatric care in the community across West Sussex.

About the Role

This is a Monday-to-Friday position offering a salary of up to £37,960, a company car or car allowance of £4,877, and a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing direct nursing care to children in the community, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  2. Working closely with families to develop personalised care plans, promoting independence and empowering them to take an active role in their child's care.
  3. Partnering with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  4. Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting, maintaining high standards of documentation and data management.
  5. Managing your own caseload, demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills to meet the needs of your patients and their families.

Requirements
  1. Competency with IV therapies, ensuring you can provide safe and effective care.
  2. A Registered Nurse qualification with a paediatric specialty, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to paediatric care.
  3. Previous experience in a community nursing role, showcasing your ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. A valid driver's license, enabling you to travel to patients' homes and other locations as needed.
