Morley, Leeds, United Kingdom Evri Full time

At Evri, we believe in supporting our team members every step of the way. You're not just another employee; your experience and growth matter to us. We strive to create an environment where you can thrive and see the impact you can make in your role.

As a leader in responsible delivery solutions, Evri is committed to nurturing talent and fostering a diverse and supportive workplace. Our team is made up of ambitious individuals who uplift one another, recognizing that our people are the cornerstone of our success. If our values resonate with you, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

In the role of Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to enhance our SME account volumes, aiming to meet or surpass budget expectations by nurturing existing relationships and onboarding new clients. You will act as the key liaison between our SME customers and Evri, ensuring that all business accounts are managed effectively and profitably.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing Evri Business Accounts to maximize our share of their shipping volume, ensuring all accounts meet or exceed budget and cross-sales objectives.
  • Generating detailed reports for the SME Team Manager, outlining budgets, anticipated volumes, rates, and sales opportunities, while clearly explaining the factors influencing account performance.
  • Conducting client visits according to the established schedule and upon request to foster and maintain strong relationships.
  • Making phone calls as per the call cycle, remaining accessible to receive inquiries from your accounts and those of your colleagues, aligning with business needs.
  • Building and sustaining relationships to enhance compliance and drive sales growth.
  • Setting and managing customer retention targets, ensuring those goals are met through excellent relationship management with the SME Account Holder.
  • Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system for each customer, enabling the business to forecast account volumes, evaluate performance, and apply appropriate pricing strategies.
  • Collaborating with the New Business Sales Manager to ensure a seamless transition of allocated clients once assigned by the team manager.
  • Working closely with operations and customer service teams to guarantee that clients receive the required level of service.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A confident demeanor with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, driving sales and maximizing cross-sales of Next Day, International, and Digital products, ensuring all accounts meet or exceed agreed volumes.
  • Prior experience in an account management role or a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; familiarity with Oracle Right Now Service Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience in customer database management.
  • Knowledge of the B2C home shopping or e-commerce sector is advantageous.
  • The ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • An outgoing personality with the confidence to deliver sales presentations and challenge assumptions.

We promote flexible working arrangements to accommodate individual needs while supporting team objectives. This role offers a hybrid working model.

Additionally, we provide excellent benefits, including 26 days of holiday plus bank holidays, an annual bonus contingent on meeting criteria, a robust pension plan, and a variety of retailer discounts from our partners.
