As the Senior Endoscopy Nursing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care throughout the endoscopy patient journey, assisting the Endoscopy Practitioner Lead in the effective management and organization of care delivery within the endoscopy unit.

- Contributing to the enhancement of Essential Quality Requirements and Best Practice standards for flexible endoscopy services, including decontamination and clinical care.
- Correctly applying relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Engaging in departmental communication, policy formulation, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
To qualify for this position, you must be a Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) holding a valid HCPC PIN. Additionally, you will need:
- Experience in leading a clinical team.
- Basic and advanced qualifications in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
- Completion of an Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
- Teaching, assessing, or mentorship qualifications.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM).
- ILS certification.
