Specialist Nurse Opportunity at Circle Health Group

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Nurse to join our team at Circle Health Group, working in the Oncology department at The Mount Alvernia Hospital in Guildford.

About the Role

This is a bank role, working on an "as and when required" basis, to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, working closely with Medical and Surgical Oncologists
  • Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, adhering to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards
  • Conduct yourself professionally, adhering to NMC Codes of Professional Conduct and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing or Registered Nurse Level 2 - Relevant Competencies for the role
  • Surgical oncology experience (e.g., post-operative care)
  • Breast care course / module
  • Understanding of workload and shift management
  • Patient and caring approach to customer care
