Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology (Bank)

Salary: Up to £25.00 / hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Circle Health Group Limited (Weekly Payroll) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Oncology department at Mount Alvernia Hospital in Guildford.

This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, where you will supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing or Registered Nurse Level 2 - Relevant Competencies for the role.
  • Surgical oncology experience, i.e., post-operative care.
  • Willingness to develop or already hold:
    • Breast care course/module
    • Lymphoedema management course
    • Advanced communication skills
    • Teaching experience
    • Audit experience
    • Excellent organisation and multitasking skills.
    • Understanding of workload and shift management.
    • Patient and caring approach to customer care.
    Requirements:
    • Working closely with both Medical and Surgical Oncologists.
    • Preparing and maintaining clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
    • Conducting yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of Professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
