About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Lifting Equipment Inspector and Maintenance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in mechanical maintenance and a desire to transition into a surveyor role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain lifting equipment, including passenger lifts, escalators, elevators, and stairlifts
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliant with regulations
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance-related issues

Requirements
  • HNC or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and lifting equipment inspection
  • Strong knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
