Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on various pressing and blow moulding machinery.

**Key Responsibilities:**
Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on an array of plant machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic controlled machinery, working with vacuums and presses.
Liaising with and shadowing existing engineering team during the initial 6-month period to learn the machinery on site and develop skills to maintain and repair production machines.
Collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant.
Following and adhering to company Health & Safety policies.

**Requirements:**
Minimum 3 years' worth of experience as a mechanical bias engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic machinery.
In-depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery.
Relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ's/17th/18th edition) - advantageous.

**What We Offer:**
Salary between £35,000-£40,000 dependent on experience.
Overtime available at 1.5x (2x Sunday / 3x Bank Holiday).
