Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Northampton, Northamptonshire. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant by performing electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification, conducting planned and preventative maintenance, and collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on a variety of pressing and blow moulding machinery.
  • Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on an array of plant machinery.
  • Collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant.
  • Following and adhering to company Health and Safety policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' worth of experience as a mechanical or electrical bias engineer within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery.
  • Relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ's/17th/18th edition) - advantageous.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence.
