Job Title: Care Services Manager

Job Summary:

The Care Bureau is seeking an experienced Care Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our domiciliary care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of our care services, ensuring that all care calls are covered by the most appropriate staff.
  • Care Planning: Carry out new client care assessments and develop Care Plans that meet the individual needs of our clients.
  • Staff Management: Complete regular reviews with clients and their relatives, social workers, and other health professionals involved in their care. Conduct staff probation meetings, appraisals, and supervisions to ensure that our care staff are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Recruitment and Induction: Assist with the recruitment of new care staff and help them through the induction process to ensure a smooth transition into their new role.
  • Professional Relationships: Maintain professional relationships between other health and social care professionals to ensure that our clients receive comprehensive care.
  • Cover Care Calls: Cover care calls if required to ensure that our clients receive uninterrupted care.
  • Documentation: Ensure that all documentation is completed in line with company policy and current regulations.
  • On-Call Duties: Participate in on-call duties to ensure that our clients receive 24/7 care.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Supervisory experience within a domiciliary care environment.
  • Qualifications: NVQ/QCF Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 5 in Adult Care Leadership and Management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude and willingness to get 'hands-on' when needed.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license and use of your own car.
