Job Title: Assistant Cash Accountant

Join our team at KHR - Recruitment Specialists, a leading recruitment agency, as we seek an experienced Assistant Cash Accountant to support our client's financial operations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Assistant Cash Accountant to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's cash flow, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and maintaining financial integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and update daily cash flow forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Accountable for the daily upload of invoicing and bank account processes, reconciliation of payments, receipts, and operational processes.
  • Responsible for the daily allocation of payments and receipts to customers and supply chain.
  • Contribute to the monthly management accounts pack, including dashboard reporting.
  • Post authorizations within policy for all daily cashbook, monthly balance sheets, and reconciliations, and report accurately.
  • Reconcile all bank and cash accounts within the control environment to strict deadlines, providing quality control of daily cashbook and treasury processes.
  • Responsible for changes to systems and user acceptance tested and signed off prior to deployment.
  • Accountable for weekly payments, review all faster payments, BACS, CHAPS, and FCY payments.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in technical accounting skills, with a focus on cash management.
  • High degree of analytical skills.
  • Prior experience monitoring and reporting compliance of treasury activities with approved policies.
  • Experience with SAGE 50, Sage Intact, Dynamics (or similar) systems is desirable.
Qualifications:
  • Full or part-qualified.
  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent (preferred, not essential).
