About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Cambridge. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with a brain injury to live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting the individual's independence and well-being.
  • Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times, adhering to care plans and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members, maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy.
  • Aid with light household chores, including cooking and cleaning.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
