Director, Business Governance – Consumer Duty

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Consumer Duty Governance programme in Wealth Management Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and providing leadership, strategic direction, reporting, and oversight of the programme.
Key Responsibilities- Design, embed, improve, and maintain processes and controls throughout Wealth Management Europe to ensure alignment with Consumer Duty obligations.
- Develop and implement a training, reporting, compliance, and control framework in accordance with Consumer Duty regulations and guidance.
- Provide Consumer Duty expertise, guidance, and training to client-facing staff and product specialists.
- Drive change and support employees in remaining focused on business priorities.
- Promote a strong culture of control awareness and risk mitigation in all dealings with the business.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for efficiency, working to prevent, detect, and eliminate operational risks.
- Engage with key professional services providers, industry forums, and strategic vendors to foster relationships and develop thought leadership.
- Relevant university degree and/or professional qualification.
- Extensive experience of Wealth Management/Private Banking businesses.
- Proven track record in the definition, development, and application of Corporate Governance and Controls in complex international businesses.
