We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Assistant Manager to join our management team at The Highwayman, a busy pub in Kirkby Lonsdale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our pub, welcoming and looking after customers, training and leading our bar and waiting team, managing busy services, and running special events.
About the Role
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Train and develop the skills of our bar and waiting team to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and drink offerings.
- Manage the pub's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
