Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our integrated community nursing team as a Healthcare Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a recognized finalist in the 2023 Nursing Times Awards.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will work with a registered community nurse on twilight duty, providing care to housebound patients across Surrey Downs Health & Care localities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering clinical interventions as delegated by senior team members
  • Following personalized care plans and providing personal, social, and emotional support to patients
  • Promoting patient health and well-being, educating family members, and maintaining accurate records

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience of caring for patients
  • Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills and basic numeracy skills
