Locum Consultant in Transplant Nephrology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Transplant Nephrology to join our team at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
About the RoleThe Nephrology and Transplant Directorate serves a population of approximately 4 million people in South East Wales, providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including dialysis and transplantation.
The Transplant Unit at UHW is a leader in the field, performing around 140 adult transplants per year. The unit has a standalone multi-organ retrieval team and is part of National Organ Retrieval Services (NORS), providing abdominal retrieval services nationally and Normothermic Organ Perfusion.
The post holder will work closely with Consultant colleagues and a broad multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nephrology and transplant services to our patients. This will include providing outpatient care in a general nephrology clinic and to a cohort of dialysis patients, alongside 10 other Consultant Nephrologists.
