Job Description

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for two General Cover Teachers to work in the Swansea area. We work with many schools in the area, who are always on the lookout for teachers to help support their staffing provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Teaching: Plan and prepare lessons, schemes of work, and assessment material to deliver high-quality education to students.
  • Student Support: Teach pupils according to their educational needs, focusing on literacy and numeracy skills as appropriate.
  • Behaviour Management: Ensure positive behaviour management in accordance with school policies, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Departmental Contributions: Participate in departmental meetings, discussions, and management systems to drive educational excellence.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, promoting a culture of mutual respect and trust.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Hold the necessary qualifications and training for this role, as outlined in the FAQ section on the Teaching Personnel website.
  • Experience: Have experience of teaching in a secondary school setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality education.
  • Skills: Possess excellent classroom teaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
