About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our client-facing team at Jacobs, delivering projects across various sectors in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a large proactive mechanical team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction contracts, health and safety, and environmental legislation. They will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team to achieve sustainable growth and success.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a Mechanical team within the Operational performance unit
  • Supporting the Operation Director and Senior team with the sustainable growth of the business
  • Providing facilitation, leadership, mentoring, and coaching to enhance the team's general capability
  • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills
  • Lead the production of proposals and tenders in accordance with client and Jacobs commercial requirements and governance
  • Work in a safe and sustainable manner, adhering to the highest professional standards while ensuring accountability for safety
  • In conjunction with technical leads and Designers produce and maintain project baselines (scope, cost, and schedules)
  • Provide robust financial and project reporting
