About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic kitchen team as an Apprentice Culinary Professional. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment, working towards a nationally recognized qualification as a Commis Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff
  • Develop basic cooking techniques and procedures
  • Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented according to the chef's specifications
  • Contribute to special events, catering, and menu planning as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen station
  • Adapt to changes in menu, kitchen procedures, and daily operations
  • Develop relationships with the senior kitchen team members to ensure a well-organized and efficient workflow
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring the kitchen complies with all health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent; At least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above
  • Maths & English Level 2
  • Passion for Food & Hospitality and a genuine interest in the industry and a desire to pursue a career in this field
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank/public holidays as required
