The Educational Equality Institute is a non-profit organization based in Norway, dedicated to educating and empowering disadvantaged girls. In response to the war in Ukraine, we launched the project "Together for Ukraine", providing free educational programs to help Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment.
We are seeking a volunteer Grant Writer to research, write, and submit grant proposals to funding organizations on our behalf. As a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for our projects and contributing to the empowerment of disadvantaged girls.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.
- Develop grant proposals that align with our mission and strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with funder guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including tracking application deadlines, submitting proposals, and following up with funders.
- Experience writing successful grant proposals for non-profit organizations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Strong research and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members and program staff.
- Remote and flexible scheduling: We require a minimum of 6 hours of work per week, and you can choose when to work based on your schedule and availability.
