Your role will involve managing intricate Commercial, Construction, and Building Safety disputes, delivering practical legal counsel, and liaising with both internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee advisory services on contentious legal issues
  • Foster robust relationships with essential stakeholders within Barratt Group
  • Manage and monitor external legal expenditures
  • Report directly to the Head of Regulatory, Construction, and Disputes
  • Compile and present significant litigation updates to the Executive team
  • Engage in knowledge sharing within the Group Legal team
  • Guide, mentor, and enhance the skills of junior legal professionals

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)
  • Proven track record as a Senior Commercial or Senior Construction Litigation attorney
  • Adept at thriving in a dynamic work environment
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation abilities
  • Capability to deliver practical legal advice within a commercial framework
  • Preferably experienced in the construction or residential development sector
