About the Role
The Yorkshire Building Society Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Supplier Relationship Management team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business success through effective supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the SRM team in managing supplier relationships to ensure high standards and commercial value.
- Develop and implement supplier-specific strategies to drive business growth and manage risks.
- Partner with Accountable Directors to ensure key supplier relationships meet business objectives and contractual commitments.
- Act as a deputy to the Director of Supply Chain Management, ensuring regulatory obligations are met for outsourcing and third-party risk management.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of third-party risks in the supply chain, particularly in a regulated financial services environment. You will also have experience in developing and implementing mitigation strategies and action plans to reduce or eliminate these risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a leader in supplier relationship management, covering both IT and non-IT supplier relationships.
- Strong understanding of third-party risks and ability to develop mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
