Lead Supplier Relationship Manager

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team at Yorkshire Building Society. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a Supplier Relationship Management framework that drives value and delivers excellent customer service.
You will oversee material outsourced relationships and ensure that suppliers in your portfolio are monitored against the framework. This will involve conducting supplier audits and leading a small team of supplier relationship managers to ensure smooth, effective, and efficient supplier management.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supplier Relationship Management, you will be expected to influence a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, up to Senior Manager level, with proven relationship/stakeholder management skills and the capability to face into challenging and difficult conversations.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you must have worked in a previous supplier relationship management role and be comfortable in managing multiple suppliers to deliver the best outcomes, both in terms of commercial, performance, and innovation opportunities.
You must be able to translate strategic priorities and objectives into actionable operational plans and have proven experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve high performance.
