Clinical Specialist Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Therapist to join our Urgent Care Therapy team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert therapy services to patients in the Emergency Department, Acute Medical Unit, and Short Stay Units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality therapy services to patients with complex needs, including frailty and geriatric assessments.
- Work collaboratively with the Frailty and Interface Team to ensure comprehensive care for patients in the emergency corridor.
- Develop and implement therapy interventions to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital admissions.
- Lead and influence change within the therapy team and across the organization.
- Provide clinical expertise and specialist advice to the multidisciplinary team.
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
- Postgraduate training or qualification relevant to the clinical area.
- Experience of audit, presenting complex data, and supervising junior staff.
- Ability to lead and influence change, and work collaboratively across teams.
