Maths Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Support Assistant to join our team at a small, friendly primary school in Waterloo. As a Maths Support Assistant, you will work with small groups or one-to-one, helping to build confidence and improve understanding in maths for Key Stage 2 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support maths boosters and interventions for Key Stage 2 pupils
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver maths support
  • Help build confidence and improve understanding in maths for pupils
  • Develop and deliver maths support plans to meet individual pupil needs

Requirements:

  • Strong maths skills (GCSE Maths grade A or above)
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and supportive approach
  • Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
