We are seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team in the Acute Medical Admissions unit at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the pharmacy team and provide guidance and mentorship to ward-based medicines management technicians.
- Lead audits and projects to improve standards related to medicines management and reduce wastage within the Trust.
- Support the development of clinical and ward-based skills in junior pharmacists, with a focus on Medicines Reconciliation and multi-disciplinary team working.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Chief Pharmacist, Clinical Services to develop Medicines Reconciliation processes within the Trust.
- Provide a comprehensive and efficient pharmaceutical service in accordance with required standards of quality and professional practice.

Person Specification- Post-registration UK hospital experience (minimum 18 months)
- Experience of providing services to a broad variety of patients
- Demonstrate evidence of good clinical knowledge and skills
- Management of staff/staff appraisal
- Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Good organisational skills, self and others
- Ability to motivate self and others
- Ability to manage change
- Familiarity with CMM (formerly JAC) Pharmacy Computer System
