Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Medicines Management Technician. About the Role

As a Medicines Management Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across the trust. This will involve working closely with pharmacists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of medicines management policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on pharmaceutical sciences to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs for healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
  • Significant post-qualification experience working as a registered technician.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
