Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management and performance of between 8-15 pharmacies. Your primary objective will be to build capable and competent teams to deliver exceptional community pharmacy experiences, focusing on delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) and budgets, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality standards across all pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit each pharmacy every two weeks (minimum) to drive business performance and leave SMART actions.
  • Deliver excellent standards by ensuring compliance with all processes and procedures.
  • Monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities to grow market share.
Patient Safety, Quality, and Standards
  • Ensure all pharmacies meet the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards and NHS contract requirements.
  • Deliver all quality standards required by the NHS.
  • Actively promote and deliver all NHS and private services.
  • Report, resolve, or escalate all complaints and incidents as appropriate.
High-Performance Team
  • Effectively manage performance through coaching, feedback, and formal reviews.
  • Identify and develop both internal and external talent, providing a talent pipeline.
  • Experience in field or multi-site management, including cross-regional working and project management.
  • Sound commercial and analytical skills.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and allocate resources effectively.
  • Able to build and maintain highly effective professional networks through relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
