Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Café and Chef Manager to join our team at Anchor. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of catering within our location, ensuring a high-quality service that meets health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the catering team, setting performance goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Manage kitchen stock, equipment, and resources within budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Implement and maintain effective health and safety procedures, including COSHH and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team to provide a high-quality catering service that meets the needs of our customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible service.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including customer satisfaction and food quality.
Requirements:
- Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate with Cater craft or similar award.
- Proven experience in chef and people management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Basic knowledge of dietary requirements for older people and the impact of food types on medication.
- Safe use of kitchen equipment, including knives.
- Flexible, innovative, and able to work as part of a team and individually.
- Basic computer knowledge.
