The Lead Project Coordinator for Integrated Programs will play a pivotal role in assisting the project manager by offering strategic, partnership, and managerial guidance for the Integrated Project supported by SC Italy. This role is crucial in ensuring the cohesive integration of various thematic programs and partnerships, including government and local NGOs, within the framework of SFO projects. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the incumbent will collaborate with thematic managers and various departments such as Finance, Media Communications, Logistics, and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) to guarantee high-quality program delivery at community, district, and provincial levels.

The Lead Project Coordinator will be tasked with producing comprehensive program plans and progress reports, as well as conducting thorough reviews of financial and programmatic reports for SC Italy-funded initiatives at the field level. This position also involves providing support and guidance to all stakeholders, including SC staff and partners, in monitoring and responding to MEAL actions, evaluations, and associated action plans. The role requires a commitment to integrating key organizational principles and approaches, such as Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), child participation, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, the Coordinator will represent the project management team in networking with donors and government entities at local, provincial, and national levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Budgeting (40%): Lead the planning processes, ensuring that partners develop detailed annual implementation plans with realistic budgets and timelines. Monitor fund allocation and expenditures, coordinating with the Project Manager and thematic teams to address any discrepancies.
  • Program Quality and Reporting (30%): Ensure that programs adhere to established quality benchmarks and standards. Collaborate with MEAL teams to analyze data and prepare timely reports for the Project Manager.
  • Program Operations and Management (10%): Maintain programmatic and financial accountability, tracking progress and budget expenditures in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Representation and Networking (10%): Foster relationships with provincial authorities and participate in relevant networks to enhance the visibility and impact of Save the Children’s initiatives.
  • Partnership Management (10%): Oversee compliance and capacity-building efforts among partners, ensuring adherence to agreements and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in relevant fields such as agriculture, forestry, or management.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in integrated project management, with a preference for candidates who have worked closely with government entities.
