Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Job Type: Permanent

Location: UK - Multiple offices available

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on level of experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Green Folk LTD. As an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and projects across various sectors, including rail, energy, transport, industrial, commercial, and residential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and provide expert advice to clients and co-professionals on EIA and environmental issues.
  • Coordinate EIAs and other multidisciplinary environmental projects with our in-house technical teams.
  • Assist the EIA Lead in managing bids and sales for EIA and other multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy projects.
  • Represent the Company externally, including client-facing meetings and events.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of UK EIA regulations and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an EIA or environmental consultancy role.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • A passionate interest in the environment and/or sustainable development projects.
  • Experience of a range of development types and sizes.
