We're seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to join our team at The Highwayman. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our busy pub, welcoming and looking after customers, training and leading our bar/waiting team, managing services, and running special events.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring exceptional customer service and a high-quality dining experience.
- Lead and develop our bar/waiting team, providing training and support to help them grow and succeed.
- Collaborate with our chefs to decide on menus, manage stock, and maintain high standards of food quality.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and maintain accurate records to ensure the pub's financial success.
