We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at DJF Solicitors. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in preparing management accounts and be detail-oriented in handling financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile office accounts and purchase ledger on a daily basis
- Assist in accounts payable functions by processing invoices, expense claims, and payments
- Collect debts and engage with clients via phone, email, or letter
- Escalate issues and use internal litigation as necessary
- Approve bank transactions and provide bi-monthly reporting to the Financial Director and Managing Director on Debtors and Creditors
- Prepare monthly management accounts using Leap and Xero systems
- 4 years of accounts experience
- IT literacy, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Proficiency in Xero software
We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to join our finance team. If you have experience in legal accounts and are proficient in Xero, we encourage you to apply.
