About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Business Advisor to join our team at Workingmums. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, pragmatic, and commercial HR advice to all stakeholders, with a focus on Employee Relations and generalist activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior People Business Partner in ensuring the team delivers against our People strategy, Engagement plan, and annual People process cycle.
  • Guide and coach managers to best support their teams across various HR matters, including Health & Wellbeing, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, Performance, and Absence Management.
  • Assist with the planning, design, and evaluation of ER-related initiatives that support the immediate and future organisational strategic goals.
  • Ensure that advice to Line Managers is in-line with Company values, policies, and procedures, HR best practice, and prevailing legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend meetings and events as required to support People activity, including deputising for the Senior People Business Partner as needed.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable generalist HR experience.
  • First-hand exposure of HR in a commercially oriented business.
  • Established experience of coaching and developing managers and senior staff members.
  • Experience of supporting Employee Relations cases, including large-scale projects such as TUPE, Acquisitions, Restructuring, and Redundancy.
  • Willingness to travel, with a full driving license.
