Compliance Services Specialist

Job Title: Compliance Services RepresentativeWe are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for accurately validating client data, preparing IPT filings, and ensuring timely submission while meeting internal and statutory deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Validate complex client data using in-house software and confirm tax amounts due to clients
- Create accurate IPT returns and associated supporting documentation for clients
- Ensure all data is accurate and returns submitted within strict deadlines
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve client compliance and other issues; coordinate with internal departments for timely response and solutions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all deadlines are met
- Interact directly with Sovos clients on a regular basis for service delivery and issue resolution
- Maintain goals and key measures to ensure progress and alignment with desired business outcomes for clients
- Attend client meetings as necessary
- Provide assistance to Compliance Services Associates in building domain expertise and resolving client issues
- Ensure compliance with applicable revenue authorities and client-specified procedures by adhering to internal policies and procedures
- Identify process improvements and offer suggestions to build internal efficiencies and reduce risk
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
- 1+ years of client service-related work experience
- Excellent customer service skills and confident telephone manner
- Excellent time management, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team and cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
