We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Services Representative to join our team at Sovos Compliance. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely compliance with regulatory requirements for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Validate complex client data using in-house software and confirm tax amounts due to clients
- Create accurate IPT returns and associated supporting documentation for clients
- Ensure all data is accurate and returns submitted within strict deadlines
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve client compliance and other issues; coordinate with internal departments to provide timely response and solutions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all deadlines are being met
- Interact directly with Sovos clients on a regular basis to deliver exceptional service and resolve issues
- Maintain goals and key measures to ensure progress and alignment with desired business outcomes for clients
- Attend client meetings as necessary and provide assistance to Compliance Services Associates in building domain expertise and resolving client issues
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
- 1+ years of client service-related work experience
- Excellent customer service skills and confident telephone manner
- Strong time management, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team and cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
