About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for providing advanced non-invasive cardiology diagnostics, including Echocardiography, and will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing and interpreting Echocardiography studies, including routine transthoracic studies, contrast, 3D, transoesophageal echo, and stress echo
  • Developing and implementing complex procedures, such as TOE, stress echo, and valve clinic
  • Training and developing junior staff to achieve BSE accreditation
  • Working collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes

Person Specification

  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
  • BSE or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of one discipline of technical Cardiology, namely Echocardiography, including accreditation

  • Valid ILS certificate
