About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in echocardiography and a strong background in clinical physiology. As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for scanning and reporting independently, as well as contributing to the training and development of junior staff.
About the Team
Our team is a friendly and accredited department, offering a full range of echocardiography services, including routine transthoracic studies, contrast, 3D, transoesophageal echo, and stress echo. We are committed to advancing our clinical and leadership skills, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
As a Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for:
- Scanning and reporting independently
- Contributing to the training and development of junior staff
- Developing your own skills in complex procedures, such as TOE and stress echo
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- BSE accreditation or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of echocardiography, including accreditation
