Role Description

The Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team is evolving to enhance our capabilities, creating a high-performing function that emphasizes agility and a user-centric approach.

The Cyber Engineering team is a newly established unit within TPR, tasked with leveraging specialized expertise to mitigate cyber risks through the continuous enhancement of our cybersecurity infrastructure and solutions.

The Cyber Engineering Manager will spearhead the establishment and management of this team, focusing on developing its long-term operational capabilities and effectiveness.

This role is hands-on and requires a deep understanding of the dynamic cyber threat landscape, as well as the implementation and ongoing improvement of security solutions to safeguard our organization’s networks, systems, and data.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Cyber Engineering team to achieve its objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of TPR’s cybersecurity toolset architecture and configurations to assess and enhance its effectiveness.
  • Define and execute a long-term cyber engineering strategy to strengthen TPR’s defenses and minimize risks.
  • Continuously improve the effectiveness of our portfolio of cybersecurity tools and related processes.
  • Provide expert guidance and support during security incidents.
  • Foster collaboration between the Cyber Engineering team and key stakeholders to ensure cohesive security governance and protection efforts.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a cybersecurity team with hands-on expertise in network security technologies and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • Experience in defining and executing a multi-year roadmap for a cyber engineering team.
  • Strong technical experience with Microsoft security and infrastructure services, including Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center, and Azure Networking.
  • Proficient in integrating and supporting third-party cybersecurity solutions with Microsoft cloud infrastructure.
  • In-depth understanding of network architecture design and hands-on support.
  • A passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to staying informed about the latest threats and technologies.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as (ISC)2 ISSEP or SSCP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
