Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out assigned day-to-day delivery of planned, reactive, and small works on a wide range of different types of properties and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on commercial gas systems
  • Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
  • Perform installations and modifications to gas systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Commercial gas qualifications, including COCNPI, COCNI, BMPI, CIGAI, TPCPIA, ICPN1, CDGAI, COMCATI, and CORT1
  • Domestic gas qualifications, including CCNI, HTR1, CENWAT, and CPAI
  • Mechanical qualifications, such as City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
  • Building maintenance experience and basic IT skills

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Mechanical – City & Guilds Level 3 or Equivalent
  • Building Maintenance Experience
  • Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word

Essential Skills:

  • Maintenance biased with Multi-Skilled experience
  • Good communications skills written and verbal
  • Client facing
  • Open to dealing with other forms of work such as installations
  • Capable of working on own initiative and without supervision
  • Able to adapt to quickly changing environments and client's requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills / Time management / Ability to prioritise and organise own workload / able to work to deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
