The Role: High Voltage Vehicle Regulations Expert
As our next High Voltage Vehicle Regulations Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Aston Martin remains at the forefront of global vehicle regulations. You will be responsible for interpreting and communicating complex legislation and industry standards to internal teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Stay abreast of evolving global vehicle regulations, particularly those related to Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV).
- Summarize and disseminate regulatory changes to relevant departments within Aston Martin, ensuring clear understanding and timely action.
- Maintain comprehensive internal trackers of all applicable vehicle legislation, including technical details and implementation timelines.
- Represent Aston Martin's technical interests in regulatory development forums, advocating for policies that support innovation and market access.
- Provide detailed information on new regulations to engineering teams, facilitating seamless product compliance.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in BEV/PHEV vehicle certification, legislation, design, or testing.
- A strong understanding of the automotive industry landscape and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
