A leading luxury car manufacturer is seeking a skilled Battery Simulation and Verification Engineer to join their team at their state-of-the-art production facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for simulating, integrating, and validating high-voltage battery systems at the component, pack, and vehicle levels across all programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct software tests on components, rigs, and vehicles to validate different functionalities using quality processes for the automotive industry.
  • Develop plant models for cells, contactors, sensors, and other components of the battery systems.
  • Be responsible for conducting validation plans and analyzing and debugging any battery issues coming from the fleet.
  • Track and issue reported issues during testing, ensuring adequate validation.
  • Develop and coordinate test plans to ensure the Battery Management System (BMS) is fully validated by the time certification is required.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in battery component design, such as busbars and connectors.
  • Hands-on experience working with vehicle low-voltage and high-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in communication toolsets, including VECTOR (CANalyzer/CANoe) or Bosch (ETAS/INCA).
  • Advanced understanding of battery systems and BMS, including state flow, diagnostic, fault thresholds, and software flashing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize multiple inputs into a succinct summary.
