Property & Casualty Midmarket Underwriter

We are seeking a skilled Property & Casualty Midmarket Underwriter to join our team in the Chelmsford/Essex area. As an Underwriter, you will be aligned to a portfolio of brokers/customers to proactively develop and profitably grow their existing commercial book of business within Aviva.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is able to partner with brokers and customers to truly understand their wants and needs, using data insight to ensure we provide whole customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse risks and communicate effectively to brokers and/or customers
  • Develop and deliver business cases with strong commercial business insight
  • Work collaboratively within one of our Southeast Underwriting teams to support both the Senior Underwriter and Team Manager in delivering financials
