About the Role:
Mpeople Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of customer accounts across the UK, meeting customers on a regular basis, and contributing to the overall success and development of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Manage existing clients to maximise sales, revisit lapsed clients, and nurture new and existing business.
- Business Development: Prepare and present business and account updates to the company's management and clients.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and develop your own pipeline of client accounts.
- Diary Management: Arrange appointments, keep the office up to date with diary/appointments.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a strong product knowledge and keep updated with new products to assist in the full sales process.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work alongside the Marketing team to ensure all products are marketed correctly.
- System Knowledge: Maintain good working knowledge of systems and continuing updates.
- Conference and Exhibition Attendance: Attend conferences and exhibitions regularly.
- Administrative Duties: Process orders, order amendments, send purchase orders, and email customers with updates.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in a similar role, Account Management, Field Sales, or transferable sales background.
- Skills: Energetic and passionate about delivering improvement and exceptional customer service, building relationships, and promoting company products.
- Time Management: Manage your time efficiently and motivate yourself.
- Driving License: Full UK Driving License required for visiting client sites across the UK.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft packages Word, Outlook, Excel, with full training given on in-house systems.
