Property Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at Carter Jonas. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of property and asset management on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of properties, including leasing and letting, rent reviews, and lease renewals.
  • Undertake site visits to read meters, conduct audible fire alarm tests, and meet with contractors.
  • Identify and implement asset management opportunities and strategic development initiatives.
  • Liaise with the Facilities Management team to ensure compliance checks are complete.
  • Manage and organize improvement, repair, and maintenance work for residential properties.
  • Collect rents and other monies due, including chasing arrears.
  • Assist with the disposal of surplus property and acquisition of new assets.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in residential property management.
  • Knowledge of compliance and CDM regulations.
  • Strong experience in dealing with clients, tenants, stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and flexibility.
  • Highly organized with good time management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driving license.
