Job Title: Property / Asset Manager

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at Carter Jonas. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our mixed property portfolio, including leasing and letting of property, undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals, and dealing with the acquisition and onboarding of new assets into the portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of properties, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Lease and let properties to tenants, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Undertake rent reviews and lease renewals, negotiating terms and conditions with tenants.
  • Deal with the acquisition and onboarding of new assets into the portfolio, including due diligence and contract negotiation.
  • Identify and implement asset management opportunities to maximize the value of the portfolio.
  • Manage relations with key stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and other third parties.
  • Provide accurate and timely client reports, including financial and operational updates.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including compliance and CDM regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of residential property management and knowledge of compliance and CDM regulations.
  • Strong experience of dealing with clients, tenants, stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of professionalism and flexibility.
  • Highly organized, with good time management skills and a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
