Job Overview

Full-Time Position: 37.5 Hours Per Week

This position is pivotal in supporting our Trust's mission to enhance community health and care through collaboration and innovation. The role involves providing advisory and administrative assistance to our Employee Relations Casework, ensuring optimal staffing and resource allocation.

As an integral member of the People Directorate, the successful candidate will collaborate within a dynamic team to ensure timely handling of Employee Relations Casework and effective Wellbeing Support, adhering to local policies, legislation, and national guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Interpreting and advising on general employment terms, policies, and procedures, including annual leave, remuneration, performance management, working hours, conduct, contracts, and Agenda for Change terms.
  2. Ensuring compliance with Trust policies and standards, as well as legislative requirements, under the guidance of the Human Resource Business Partner and Employee Relations Manager.
  3. Conducting monthly compliance reviews of stage 1 and return-to-work interviews, collaborating with managers to ensure proper process adherence and documentation.
  4. Assisting managers with less complex sickness review meetings in line with the Attendance Management Policy.
  5. Providing employee relations support and guidance on various issues, including pay inquiries, terms and conditions, and policy advice.
