Job Title: Care Assistant

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (Flexitime)

Salary: £1120 per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team at Gen122 as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and companionship to a 19-year-old female student who requires assistance with daily living tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, feeding, and grooming
  • Offer support with daily living tasks, such as cooking, tidying, and getting out and about
  • Provide mental and emotional support to the student
  • Drive the wheelchair-adapted van to transport the student to and from lectures and work

Requirements:

  • Experience handling a wheelchair-bound person
  • Ability to provide caring, compassionate, and loving support
  • Flexibility to work with the student's schedule
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule with flexibility for downtime
