The Role:
As a significant division within NHS National Services Scotland, the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) plays a crucial role in the health of Scotland and internationally through our forefront position in innovative product development, biomedical research, and donor/clinical services. SNBTS is committed to upholding the highest standards of patient care while remaining competitive on a global scale.

The SNBTS Procurement department, located at the SNBTS Headquarters, offers a comprehensive suite of procurement and inventory support services to SNBTS operations, including a distribution service to NHS Scotland Pharmacies for finished plasma products.

An opportunity has arisen within the Procurement Department for a Stores Supervisor to join the team.

The role encompasses all responsibilities associated with a Stores Supervisor, including overseeing plasma product distribution while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key responsibilities will include:
- Daily supervision of stores personnel
- Task allocation and rota management
- Management of plasma products for distribution to NHS pharmacies
- Maintenance of formal quality assurance documentation.

The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a dependable team player, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively. Relevant experience in a storekeeping or warehouse environment within a multi-functional organization is preferred.

Location and Working Pattern:
The position is based at the Jack Copland Centre with a working schedule of Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, totaling 37 hours per week.

It is a requirement of this role that candidates reside within the UK.
