The Role:
As a significant division within NHS National Services Scotland, the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) plays a crucial role in the health of the Scottish population and has an international presence through its leadership in product development, biomedical research, and donor/clinical services. SNBTS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care while remaining competitive on a global scale.

The SNBTS Procurement department, located at the Headquarters of SNBTS, offers a comprehensive array of procurement and inventory support services to SNBTS operations, including a distribution service to NHS Scotland Pharmacies for finished plasma products.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Procurement Department for a Stores Supervisor to join the team.

This role encompasses all responsibilities of a Stores Supervisor, including oversight of plasma product distribution while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key responsibilities will include:
- Daily supervision of stores personnel
- Task allocation and rota management
- Management of plasma products for distribution to NHS pharmacies
- Maintenance of formal quality assurance documentation.

We are looking for a dependable team player who is self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience, preferably within a warehouse or inventory management environment of a multi-functional organization.
